Dr. Jonathan Adler is a Professor of Psychology at Olin College of Engineering and a Visiting Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He serves as Chief Academic Officer at the Health Story Collaborative, a non-profit focused on storytelling in healthcare. His research centers on identity development and psychological well-being, particularly among people with disabilities, employing qualitative, longitudinal, and case study methods. His work has been featured in major media outlets like The New York Times and Scientific American.
Adler holds editorial leadership roles, including Editor of Personality and Social Psychology Review (2022–2025) and past roles at the Journal of Personality and Collabra: Psychology.
