Jonatan Lenells

Jonatan Lenells is Professor in the Department of Mathematics at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, currently on parental leave until August 2025. His research focuses on nonlinear partial differential equations and mathematical physics.

Key research areas include integrable systems, soliton equations, and geometric methods in PDE analysis. He employs techniques from Riemann-Hilbert problems, asymptotic analysis, and differential geometry.

Lenells has supervised multiple PhD students and postdocs working on analytical and numerical aspects of integrable PDEs.
