Jonas Ledendal

Jonas Ledendal is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Law, Lund University, and a researcher at the Lund University Centre for Business Law. His work focuses on the intersection of law and digitalization, particularly addressing legal frameworks for data protection, artificial intelligence (AI), and privacy in the digital society.

• Research areas: Digitalization's impact on legal systems, reconciliation of data access with privacy rights, international legal protection of computer programs, open data and data sharing, political polarization on the internet.
• Teaching: Data protection law, intellectual property law, commercial contract law, and information technology law at both introductory and master's levels. Supervision of bachelor's and master's theses.

His outreach efforts involve collaboration with industry and the public sector, ensuring his research informs policy and practice. He contributes to projects like ADM-GOV (Automated Administration) and AI Lund, with a focus on AI governance, data sharing, and legal compliance. He has participated in seminars and workshops on AI ethics, GDPR, and digital rights.
