Jonas Johansson is an Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Critical Infrastructures at Lund University's Division of Risk Management and Societal Safety. He directs the Centre for Critical Infrastructure Protection Research (CenCIP) and holds a Docent (Reader) title in Risk and Safety. He earned a Ph.D. in Automation and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, with a visiting scholar tenure at Johns Hopkins University (2012). His research focuses on resilience, vulnerability, and risk management of critical infrastructures such as power, railways, transport, telecommunication, and water systems, emphasizing societal interdependencies and crisis management. He has authored over 100 publications and led/co-led 20 projects, including the FORCE center and collaborations with national agencies like MSB.
