Jon Green is a Lecturer in Paramedic Science at the University of Plymouth, affiliated with the School of Health Professions within the Faculty of Health. He joined the institution in April 2019 and serves as the programme link for inter-professional modules in the BSc (Hons) Paramedic Science programme. His expertise encompasses research methods, evidence-based practice, airway management, cardiac arrest, supraventricular tachycardia, acute coronary syndrome, and frailty assessment. Jon is also the nominated research lead for paramedicine, driving high-quality student research and advancing the university’s reputation in prehospital research. His PhD focuses on the effects of minor traumatic brain injuries on visual and vestibular systems.
Jon contributes to undergraduate and master’s modules, emphasizing clinical research and practical skills. He is committed to developing the University of Plymouth as a leading center for prehospital research, reflecting his ambition to bridge academic and field-based paramedic science.
