Jon Evans

Jon Evans is a Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Western Australia. His research focuses on sexual selection, sperm competition, and evolutionary genetics in marine and freshwater organisms. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology from the University of Liverpool and a PhD in Evolutionary Biology from the University of St Andrews. His roles include Co-Chair of the School’s Teaching and Learning Committee and membership on the Science Education Committee.

Current projects include ARC grants on chemical signaling in marine organisms and sperm-egg interactions in broadcast spawners.
