Jon Billsberry is an Associate Professor of Leadership and Discipline Lead for Management at La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University. He holds adjunct roles and has held senior academic positions at institutions like the University of Wollongong and Coventry University. His research focuses on person-environment fit, leadership theory, and management education, with notable contributions to understanding employee misfit and implicit leadership constructs. He is a Fellow of prestigious academies including the British Academy of Management and ANZAM, and has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management Education.
