Dr Jon Agirre is a Royal Society Olga Kennard Research Fellow at the York Structural Biology Laboratory (YSBL) within the University of York. His research focuses on structural glycobiology, developing computational methods for carbohydrate structure detection, refinement, and validation using techniques like electron cryo-microscopy and x-ray crystallography.
