John Walter Scott

John Walter Scott is a Senior Research Fellow at the Mary MacKillop Institute for Health Research, part of the Faculty of Health Sciences. His research focuses on metabolic signaling pathways, particularly AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and calcium/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase kinase 2 (CAMKK2). He has contributed to understanding the role of these kinases in diabetes, obesity, cancer, and neurological disorders.
