John Venable is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Curtin University's Faculty of Business and Law, School of Management and Marketing. He holds a PhD in Information Systems from Binghamton University (1994) and has held academic roles globally, including in Denmark, New Zealand, and Sweden. His research focuses on Design Science Research (DSR), IS development methods, organizational culture, and not-for-profit sector challenges. He has authored over 50 DSR-related papers and co-edited the 2016 DESRIST conference proceedings.
