John Tone

Dr. John Lawrence Tone is a Professor of History at Georgia Institute of Technology's School of History and Sociology within the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts. He previously served as Interim Dean of Ivan Allen College, Chair of Economics and History/Sociology Schools, and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies. His research focuses on Spanish/Cuban military history and medical history, including yellow fever studies.
