John Tichenor serves as the Eugene M. Lynn Chair in Business and Professor of Management within the Department of Management and Organizations at Stetson University's School of Business Administration. With over 27 years of service since joining in 1996, he has held diverse roles including director of institutional research and university registrar while teaching business ethics, leadership, corporate social responsibility, and specialized seminars on tradition and social justice.
His academic foundation includes a PhD in Sociology from Florida State University, complemented by MA and BA degrees in Sociology from Baylor University.
Dr. Tichenor's research critically examines Business Ethics, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Organizational Leadership, with distinctive focus on Female Leadership in Corporations and K-16 Education Policy. His interdisciplinary approach bridges business ethics with societal impact, investigating how ethical frameworks influence stakeholder dynamics and organizational behavior.
