John Temperton

John Temperton is a full-time Senior Lecturer and Course Lead for Graphic Design at York St John University, affiliated with the School of the Arts. He holds a PGCE in Higher Education (2014) and a Master's in Illustration from the Royal College of Art. His career spans over 20 years in creative industries, collaborating with major clients like Random House, GlaxoSmithKline, and Transport for London. His research focuses on drawing's role in art, design, and STEM education, examining its utility in fostering creativity and broadening participation in the arts.
