Dr. John Roth is Professor of History and Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Anabaptism at Goshen College. His work focuses on Mennonite history and global Anabaptist traditions, integrating international, intercultural, and interdisciplinary perspectives. He teaches courses that examine historical meaning and purpose through specific cultural and religious contexts.
Roth's research connects historical analysis with contemporary questions of community, identity, and faith traditions. He has developed programs emphasizing scholarship for the church and leads study courses like 'Anabaptist History in Paraguay'.
