John Rooney

Dr. John Rooney is a Senior Lecturer in Graphic Design at the Manchester School of Art, Manchester Metropolitan University. His practice-led research explores situated autoethnographic creative identity, informed by vernacular typography and public transport journeys. He holds a PhD in Graphic Design from the University of Leeds. Collaborating with figures like Professor Malcolm Garrett, he has curated exhibitions such as 'I Shout For the Fall' and 'New Art School Rules' with Design Manchester.
