John Petrella, PhD, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Kinesiology at Samford University's School of Health Professions. He joined the university in 2007 and maintains active research collaborations with organizations including the American College of Sports Medicine, where he serves as a Fellow. His administrative leadership includes past chairmanship of Samford's Institutional Review Board.
