John P. Beck is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Human Resources and Labor Relations at Michigan State University (MSU), part of the College of Social Science. He previously served as Associate Director of the School, overseeing outreach programs like the Labor Education Program and Union Management Initiatives. He co-directs a project on conflict resolution in graduate education with Karen Klomparens. His academic roles include Honors Professor in the Honors College and Faculty Associate in MSU's Graduate School.
