Dr. John O'Neil is a Professor of Global and Indigenous Health at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences. Previously serving as Dean (2007-2017), his career includes leadership roles at the University of Manitoba and groundbreaking research on Indigenous health systems spanning over 150 publications. His PhD in medical anthropology from UC San Francisco/Berkeley underpins his community-based approach.
