John Marx is a Professor of English at the University of California, Davis, and currently serves as Vice Provost for Aggie Square. He holds a Ph.D. in English Literature from Brown University (1999) and a BA from NYU's Gallatin School (1989). His research bridges literary analysis and institutional critique, focusing on the interplay between media, globalization, and higher education structures.
