John-Mark Winstanley is an Associate Teaching Professor at the University of Cambridge's Faculty of Education, specializing in primary education and teacher development. He holds a MEd (Distinction) from Cambridge, alongside a PGCE and BA in Spanish & Latin American Studies from the University of Nottingham.
His research focuses on primary English pedagogy, teaching children with English as an Additional Language (EAL), primary languages education, and teacher professional learning. Current projects include a collaborative self-study exploring beginning teachers' professional identities using narrative methodologies.
Professional roles include Co-Course Manager of the Primary PGCE and supervision of the Primary Education MEd.
