John M. Hanchar

Dr. John M. Hanchar is a Professor and University Research Professor at the Department of Earth Sciences, Memorial University of Newfoundland, within the Faculty of Science. His research focuses on trace element geochemistry, geochronology, materials science, and the geochemical evolution of mineral deposits and crustal processes. He employs advanced analytical techniques such as EPMA, SIMS, and LA-ICPMS to study minerals like zircon, monazite, and apatite.
