John Longley

Dr John Longley is a Senior Lecturer in Engineering at the Whittle Laboratory, Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge. He specializes in unsteady and non-uniform flow phenomena in turbomachinery and leakage flow effects on aerodynamic performance.

• Education: PhD at Cambridge University; BSc in Applied Mathematics
• Prior Employment: Ruston Gas Turbines (aerodynamic design of transonic turbines); MIT (VSTOL aerodynamic research)
