John Kaldor

Scientia Professor John Kaldor is a UNSW faculty member and NHMRC Leadership Fellow, leading research programs on infectious disease epidemiology and prevention at The Kirby Institute. He holds a PhD in Biostatistics from UC Berkeley and has contributed over 900 peer-reviewed publications, cited over 30,000 times. His work focuses on public health surveillance, infection-related cancers, and disease prevention strategies, particularly in HIV, viral hepatitis, and neglected tropical diseases.
