John Hoornbeek is a Professor of Health Policy & Management at Kent State University's College of Public Health. He also serves as Director of the Center for Public Policy and Health and is a Faculty Affiliate at the Center for Ecology and Natural Resource Sustainability. With over 35 years of experience in environmental, water, and public health policy, his career spans federal, state, and local government roles, including positions with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Wisconsin State Legislature, and Milwaukee County Department of Health.
