John Hicks is a Professor of Economics at Charles Sturt University, where he previously served as Dean of the Faculty of Business for 16 years. His research focuses on labor economics, macroeconomics, regional development, and emergency management. He has conducted significant work on regional issues in Australia, including disaster resilience, climate change impacts, and China-Australia economic relations.
