John Garrity

John Garrity is a Senior Lecturer and Academic & Professional Lead for Adult Health at the School of Health, Nursing and Midwifery, University of the West of Scotland (Ayr Campus). His research focuses on critical thinking in nursing education, mentorship dynamics, and the transition from student to registered nurse. He has conducted studies on clinical practice placements, mentor pressures in student evaluations, and the development of nursing education curricula.
