John D. Feerick is the Norris Professor of Law and a Full-Time Faculty Member at Fordham University School of Law since 1982. He served as Dean of Fordham Law School from 1982 to 2002. His expertise spans Constitutional Law, Legal Ethics, Conflict Resolution, and Employment Law. He co-authored the landmark Twenty-Fifth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution and has held leadership roles in numerous judicial and public integrity commissions. Notable awards include the New York Law Journal Lifetime Achievement Award (2013) and Fordham’s Hall of Honor. He founded the Feerick Center for Social Justice, dedicated to social equity and legal access. His career includes roles as a practicing attorney (1961–1982), adjunct professor, and chair of pivotal state commissions.
