John Calvin Coffey is Professor and Foundation Chair of Surgery at University of Limerick's School of Medicine, and consultant general/colorectal surgeon at University Hospital Group Limerick. His academic credentials include BSc (Anatomy) from UCC (1995), MB BCh BAO BMedSci from UCC (1998), AFRCSI (2001), PhD from UCC (2004), FRCS (Gen.Surg) (2009), and colorectal surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
