Dr. John Cahir SC is a Partner and Head of Technology at A&L Goodbody, Ireland's largest technology law group, with over two decades advising global tech companies. He specializes in regulatory compliance, data protection, and intellectual property, representing clients in high-profile disputes and EU court cases. In 2024, he was appointed Senior Counsel.
Academically, he serves as an occasional lecturer at University College Dublin’s LLM programme and Law Society courses, focusing on intellectual property and legal theory. He is a frequent speaker at international conferences and publishes in academic and trade journals.
