John Boyle

John Boyle is Professor of Catholic Studies at University of St. Thomas, specializing in medieval theology. Education includes Ph.D. in Medieval Studies from University of Toronto's Centre for Medieval Studies. His research reconstructs Thomistic thought through textual scholarship, notably rediscovering Aquinas' lost Lectura romana.

Research foci include: Thomas Aquinas' exegetical methods, Thomas More's theological writings, and medieval scholastic traditions. Recent publications analyze More's prison writings and Job's interpretation in Aquinas.
