Jane Sloan Peters

Jane Sloan Peters serves as Assistant Professor of Religious Studies within the Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies at the College of Mount Saint Vincent, where her scholarship bridges early Christian theology and medieval philosophical traditions.

Her research examines how Greek patristic thought influenced Thomas Aquinas' theological framework, especially through medieval exegetical traditions like the Catena Aurea. She actively contributes to scholarship on Byzantine-Latin theological dialogue and contemporary applications of Catholic intellectual tradition, including Maritain's philosophy.
