John W. Ballantine, Jr. is a Senior Lecturer Emeritus at the Brandeis International Business School, Brandeis University. He specializes in energy/climate change, corporate finance, and political economy. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of a start-up software company, a senior consultant at Arthur D. Little, Inc., and a banker at Chase Manhattan Bank. He directed the Master of Science in Finance (MSF) program for 15 years, focusing on energy finance and sustainability.
