Johannes M. Kiess

Dr. Johannes M. Kiess is a Researcher at the University of Siegen and Deputy Director (50% position) of the Else Frenkel-Brunswik Institute for Democracy Research at the University of Leipzig. His research focuses on political sociology, European integration, right-wing extremism, and democratic attitudes. He holds a PhD in Sociology (summa cum laude, 2018) and has conducted research on topics such as conspiracy theories, anti-Semitism, and trade unions.
