Johannes Antoni

Johannes Antoni serves as a Lecturer in Conducting at Karlsruhe University of Music and has been the Choir Director at Pforzheim Theater since September 2021. He specializes in historically informed performances, particularly works by Johann Sebastian Bach and Heinrich Schütz, and collaborates with ensembles like the Baden-Württemberg Chamber Choir, SWR Vokalensemble, and Berlin Philharmonic Chamber Choir.

Education: Studied school music (piano and choral conducting) at Karlsruhe University of Music and mathematics/German studies at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Completed a Master's in Choral Conducting with Prof. Matthias Beckert in February 2023.
