Meyer has published several scholarly articles that reflect his diverse research interests, demonstrating a consistent focus on how technological developments intersect with religious thought and practice across different historical periods.
Meyer is actively involved in teaching, offering courses on the history of Christianity, church history for teacher training, and specialized seminars on topics including Alsatian Protestantism, church constitutions, and the relationship between Christianity and technology.
