Johan Walden is a tenured Professor of Finance at the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, where he holds the Mitsubishi Bank Chair in International Business and Finance and serves as a Distinguished Teaching Fellow. He specializes in risk analysis, financial markets, and insurance, with expertise in portfolio diversification and regulatory frameworks. Walden teaches MBA, MFE, and executive education courses in finance, asset pricing, and financial engineering, and has held visiting scholar positions at NYU Stern, UCLA, Oxford University, and INSEAD.
