Johabed G. Olvera

Johabed G. Olvera is an Assistant Professor of Public Policy at Penn State’s School of Public Policy. She is currently on leave (2021-22) visiting the Center for Research and Teaching in Economics (CIDE) in Mexico City. Her research focuses on public policy analysis, implementation, and management of health/social programs targeting vulnerable populations in developing nations and the U.S., particularly maternal/child health interventions. Her work has been published in Public Administration Review and funded by the Tobias Center and Ostrom Workshop in Political Theory. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Affairs from Indiana University’s O’Neill School.
