Professor Joe Elliott is a Professor and Principal of Collingwood College at Durham University, affiliated with the School of Education. His research focuses on dyslexia, achievement motivation, working memory difficulties, and cross-cultural influences in education. He has held roles including President of the International Association for Cognitive Education and Psychology (2003–2005) and has been a Visiting Scholar at Yale University.
