Dr. Joe Conrad is an Associate Professor of Forest Operations at the Harley Langdale Jr. Center for Forest Business, University of Georgia. He specializes in timber harvesting efficiency, wood supply chain management, and forestry policy. His research emphasizes timber transportation safety, cost-effectiveness, and the impact of regulatory policies on logging operations. Dr. Conrad holds a B.S. in Forestry from The University of the South, and an M.F. and Ph.D. in Forest Operations from Virginia Tech.
