Jodyn Platt

Jodyn Platt, PhD, MPH, is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan School of Public Health, affiliated with the departments of Learning Health Sciences and Health Management and Policy. Her research bridges health informatics, ethics, and community engagement.

Her recent publications highlight AI governance, patient-centered design of health technologies, trust dynamics in clinical decision support, and equitable public health communication strategies during pandemics. She also investigates frameworks for computable biomedical knowledge and learning health systems.

Dr. Platt has received NIH funding to explore stakeholder perspectives on AI in clinical decision-making, precision oncology, and radiation oncology. She develops "product information labels" for AI healthcare tools and maturity models for precision health systems.
