Jody David Armour is the Roy P. Crocker Professor of Law at the University of Southern California's Gould School of Law. He has been a faculty member since 1995, specializing in criminal justice, racial justice, and the intersection of race with legal decision-making. His research explores systemic racism in law enforcement, mass incarceration, and tort reform.
Educated at Harvard University (BA in Sociology) and UC Berkeley (JD with honors), Armour has authored influential works like *Negrophobia and Reasonable Racism* (1997) and *N*gga Theory* (2020). His interdisciplinary approach includes multimedia projects such as *Race, Rap, and Redemption*, blending law with Hip Hop culture.
