Miss Jodie Silsby is a Principal Teaching Fellow at the Winchester School of Art, University of Southampton, specializing in Graphic Arts education. She serves as the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Champion for the Design Department and Creative Convenor for Studio 3015, a transitional learning space and KEE enterprise initiative. Her work focuses on developing transformative, co-designed teaching methodologies through national and international collaborations to create equitable educational environments.
Her research centers on advancing Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Higher Education through innovative pedagogical frameworks. She emphasizes co-designed educational models that bridge academic theory with professional practice in Graphic Arts, fostering sustainable institutional partnerships. Her approach integrates social justice principles into curriculum development to enhance inclusive learning experiences across diverse student populations.
As Creative Convenor of Studio 3015, she directs a dynamic hub for interdisciplinary educational, research, and social projects that strengthen connections between academic excellence and industry application through community-driven initiatives.
