Jodi Jasionowicz

Dr. Jodi Jasionowicz is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, with a secondary appointment in the Department of Anesthesia. He holds a DMD from Temple University and a BS in Biology from The University of Scranton. His career includes a one-year internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, 20 years of private practice specializing in dental emergencies and geriatric oral surgery, and teaching roles at Temple University and currently at Pitt.

Research & Teaching Interests: Dr. Jasionowicz focuses on training dental students in dentoalveolar surgery, pre-prosthetic surgery, emergency surgery, and safe administration of nitrous oxide and local anesthesia. He emphasizes care for medically compromised patients and geriatric populations.
