Joaquin Carrasco Gomez is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Control Systems at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The University of Manchester. He holds dual degrees from the University of Murcia: B.S. in Physics (2004) and Ph.D. in Control Engineering (2009). His research focuses on control theory applications in robotics and nonlinear systems, with emphases on teleoperation, absolute stability, and passivity theories. He has held visiting positions at the University of Groningen and University of Massachusetts.
