Joanne D.S. Armstrong is the Interim Director of the Arthur W. Diamond Law Library and a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School. She earned a J.D. from Columbia Law School in 1983, an A.B. from Harvard University in 1979, an M.Phil from Cambridge University in 1982, and an M.S. from Columbia University in 1988. She co-authored the textbook Where the Law Is and teaches the Seminar in Advanced Legal Research Techniques.
