Joanna Woo is a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Simon Fraser University (SFU). She holds a PhD in Astrophysics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and has postdoctoral experience at the University of Victoria and ETH Zurich. Her research focuses on galaxy evolution, stellar populations, and machine learning applications in astronomy, often utilizing hydrodynamical simulations and galaxy integral field spectra.
