She has been involved in significant research projects including the Children's Services Reform Research (CSRR) and Lifelong Links, where she served as a co-investigator and academic partner, evaluating family support and child protection initiatives in the UK. These projects were externally funded and focused on child welfare outcomes, family engagement, and service integration.
Joanna is affiliated with CELCIS, a leading center in child care research, where she collaborates on datasets, reports, and policy evaluations aimed at transforming children’s services through evidence-based approaches.
