Joachim Brod is Associate Professor of Physics at the University of Cincinnati, conducting theoretical research in high-energy particle physics and cosmology. His work spans flavor physics, dark matter phenomenology, and precision tests of beyond-Standard-Model theories using advanced computational methods. Brod holds a PhD from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and completed postdoctoral work at TU Munich and Mainz.
Brod contributes to DOE-funded collaborations in particle cosmology and develops theoretical frameworks for multiloop calculations. He organizes the PIKIMO phenomenology workshop series and teaches quantum field theory, mechanics, and particle physics courses.
