Jo Yarker is a Professor of Occupational Psychology at Birkbeck Business School, University of London, holding a .2FTE fractional post. She is also a Managing Partner of Affinity Health at Work, working in a job-share with Dr. Rachel Lewis. Her research focuses on work, health, and well-being, with expertise in return-to-work strategies for employees with mental health conditions, workplace interventions, and occupational health policy.

She collaborates with organizations like the World Health Organization, Health and Safety Executive (HSE), and International SOS to translate research into policy and practice.
