Jo Swinson is a Visiting Professor at Cranfield School of Management, contributing to academic discourse on economic transformation and workplace dynamics. She served as Leader of the Liberal Democrats (2019) and was a Member of Parliament for 12 years (2005-2015, 2017-2019). As Director of Partners for a New Economy (P4NE) since 2020, she drives initiatives to align economic systems with nature and human well-being.
Research Interests: Jo's work focuses on reimagining economic frameworks to prioritize sustainability and inclusivity. Her research spans gender equality, workplace diversity, and corporate responsibility, informed by her policy advocacy and ministerial experience in the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS). She pioneered reforms such as shared parental leave and flexible working policies.
